How to multiply money on Linkedin

LinkedIn is the world’s largest portal for establishing business contacts. It is also an excellent place to advertise your own products or services for both small and larger entrepreneurs. However, how to make our profile both stand out and prove our professionalism? Here are some practical tips.

  1. If you are not a coach, refrain from coaching quotes. The portal is now full of accounts with black and white photos in the background and the success that made you a winner. Because of the low level of users who tried to look more professional than they really are, at the moment LinkedIn does not welcome the motivational speech and coaches’ pearls of wisdom.
  2. At the beginning, focus on networking. It is good to have at least five hundred contacts. If this number seems exaggerated to you, remember – LinkedIn is not Facebook, it is not for contacting people you know only personally, but for building a base of potential clients, employees and colleagues. In the past, LinkedIn had a significant limitation of contact acquisition, but it did not work at all, so now the system is looser but more efficient.
  3. Do not spam unless you have a precise target. LinkedIn has a SalesNavigator tool, but it is not very efficient. For this reason, spammers from all over the world use it to send out completely misguided offers. So don’t be surprised if you suddenly receive messages about buying metal bars or freight forwarding services in India, even though you do not operate in this sector at all. And if you send offers yourself, make sure that they are presented to potentially interested customers.
  4. Try to get a gold logo. It is awarded to those users who fill in the profile with engaging content. This may be a little difficult at first, but the portal has tutorials to help. The gold logo not only looks good and is associated with professionalism, but also slightly increases the range.
  5. Do not be afraid of sending messages. Acquiring contacts on LinkedIn requires a certain amount of commitment. It is advisable to share articles, participate in groups and update posts. Initially, LinkedIn allows you to publish content with a length of 700 characters – this is not much, so you should think carefully about what you want to say or quote.

There is much to be gained from LinkedIn, but creating a profile can be considered a demanding challenge, especially in comparison with other social media. However, it is good to apply yourself to it as the quality of our profile page significantly translates into the number of contacts we acquire through it.
